Topic: Hands on Perl 6
We'll be in the classroom this month, with Jerry Gay (prominent rakudo/parrot contributor) visiting from Seattle. Bring your laptop (or at least your learning hat) and be prepared to get your hands on Perl 6. Having a parrot checkout and working perl6 (or pugs) is helpful, but not required.
As always, the meeting will be followed by social hour at the LuckyLab.
PDX.pm meetings are on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:53pm, typically at Free Geek. Meetings are free-of-charge for all PortlandPerlMongerMembers. The cost for non-members is $2,000,000,000.00 per person.
Membership is free and open to everyone on a self-serve basis (just join the MailingList or add yourself to the members page, come to meetings, and have fun.)
